Small Steps Description

In my class, we are reading a book called Small Steps. It is by the author of Holes. It isn't a sequal to Holes, but it has some charachters from Holes. It has Armpit and X-ray. It is about

X-ray trying to get rich quik. His plan is to but 12 tickets, and sell them all, but put an add in the newspaper so it isn't illegal. But he practically steals all of Armpit's money and uses it to buy the tickets. I can't belive Armpit fell for it.

Armpit

- after visiting Camp Green Lake wants to get his life back

on track. He works digging trenches [wich he must love to do].

His neighbor is a 10 year old white girl with ceberal palsy

named Ginny. Ginny is his best friend and he watches out for

her.

X-ray

- hasn't really changed after Camp Green Lake. He still makes

up alot of get rich quick schemes and still has that kind of

criminal mind.

Ginny

- Ginny is 10 years old. She has the sweetest mind along with

one of the scariest diseases. She has Ceberal Palsy. There

was bleeding in her brain when she was born, so she stutters

over some of her words. she also has scary seizurs, but acts

like nothing is wrong with her.

Kaira DeLeon

- Kaira is in a total different part of the story that eventually

falls in place with Armpit's half. Kaira is a famous singer

who is really popular everywhere! Everybody loves her!
